I have had months of silence.
I have had months to make me questions, to search for answers.
I have denied myself to that human creation that for so many years had been my primary source for emotions, for compassion, for joys: the music. And I have done that to try to discover in its missing presence what it really represents.
It has not been a rational choice, but a physiological need for silence. And we live difficult moments when we lose the faith in the things we thought to be helpful for us.

Is music a value?
This question can appear vain and without any kind of real value to the majority. In effect it can be like that, but for a person who has put a great part of his own certainties and who has made a religion of music, this question can become cardinal. I put in question the last pillar of my unconscious life, of my interior life.

Then, from nothing, from the fog, the future emerged, the most unexpected future, the most desired. A travel, a pilgrimage I would say, a desperate mission to search for a salvation of this soul which was becoming deaf to music.
I have travelled, I have crossed mountains and plains, town and countries, skies and bird's songs to arrive in a land which kept in its morning cold the warmth of a remembrance which will never die.

Anthwerp - May 30°, Bruxelles - May 31°, two dates, numbers, names of towns that have crossed a dream without leaving any trace. I have lived two concerts of Madredeus with a person that has given a lot and never asked. I have lived songs, I have lived sounds that resounded just for me in the concert hall. I have shared instants with the people that have placed on earth the first bricks of the temple I am. And nowadays they are painting with their songs the spoil and young walls of this building still without the roof. They are sparse frescos, gently set between the stones of my days. I have lived Madredeus in the instants that I have no fear to forget and that, for this reason, I will remember forever.

That tears I poured on "Olhar" reopened that door I was trying to close and now the music is still flowing in my life, the sun shows itself again at the window, the warmth start to diffuse and the plants, hungry for light and dew, start to rise towards the opening...
