Parma,
still in the mind I have that sunny day in the Pilotta's courtyard, that day
which so much gave and stole me.
Those walls, that war and men's madness made unfinished, gifted to that evening
the beauty of imperfection and the glamour of what has no end, like those love
sentences in which only our breathe can put the full stop.
Those walls became an eternal love declaration to this music, to the woman that
I still have to find and to the love that I lived and lost.
And as in an immense painting of life, every element of my existence took part
of that night in a kaleidoscope of colours, emotions and not-said-words.
The city, the family,
the music and the poetry
of a loved pair of eyes
made the night a painting
of drowned and loose stars
in the abyss of a dying love.
Fano,
I passed that overheated day waiting with frenzy the music that should stop
the thoughts on the precedent day. I still was not aware that those notes bring
us to the heart and that the errant and nomad thought is brought where love,
lived or remembered, is.
In the ancient Courtyard in which that concert lived, my heart made the longest
journey, the most dangerous initiation: it learnt to forget love
A
thousand six hundred hands
broke a silence of breathes
and the titanic note
of a divine voice
while
A thousand six hundred memories
broke a silence of tears
and the titanic words
of a demonic letter
Bollate,
there was the entire Milano in that evening in Bollate under that immense marquee.
There was the entire Milano, with its races, its realities, its clans and its
idiosyncrasies.
An arrogant and pretentious Milano in the regards of that noble and humble music
that was triumphant after that challenge with that heterogeneous and (for the
majority) ignorant mass.
Of that evening I will always remember the "meltin' pot" of silhouettes and
stereotypes united by a metropolitan snobbery not allowed by culture.
But I will also remember a quick meeting that, without any note, unveiled me
the beauty of music.
An
old and green car
on the old and green paths
of a withered nobility.
You drove me to the Villa
with elegance and nobility
while your disquieting appearance
distilled magical words on that music
that your sensitive soul couldn't listen
Cesena,
an evil sky with clouds on the fortress; war displayed into peace or maybe peace
sang in war because I heard peace in that fortress protected from the world,
from its wars, from its injustices. The door of that construction was also a
interior door and I left behind it the interior wars, the interior fights, the
interior injustices.
On the war altar
ended in the night
the conflict of a
warless soul
Sorcerer of an unknown rite
was the music, the beauty
and the absence of past and memory;
we only saw a future
whose beauty was music
and memory hope
Prato,
for a whole night my steps sang in the streets of this small city. They evoked
again the music that had started at the end of the sun and could leave my mind
to rest silently in my heart only when the great sphere rose on my tired face
with its music of colours.
That sweet dawn
painted in the sky
the sunny and fragile
colours of
the girl I'd in my heart.

Parma,
l'amore.
Mille
e seicento mani ruppero
un silenzio di respiri
e la titanica nota
d'una voce divina
mentre
Mille e seicento ricordi rompevano
un silenzio di lacrime
e le titaniche parole
d'una lettera infame
Bollate,
c'era tutta Milano quella sera a Bollate sotto quell'immenso tendone.
vecchia e verde carretta
sui vecchi e verdi sentieri
Sull'altare
della Guerra
finì quella notte
il conflitto d'una
anima imbelle
Stregone d'un rito ignoto
fu la musica, la beltà
e l'assenza di passato e ricordo;
vedemmo solo un futuro
la cui beltà era musica
e il ricordo speranza
Prato,
Quell'alba
dolce
dipinse in cielo i
colori solari e
fragranti di
colei che portai in cuore.
